SOP for Trimming Sermon Video and Audio
Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to trim sermon video and audio using the Church Plant Media livestream dashboard.
Key Steps
1. Access the Archives 0:00
- Navigate to the home page of the Church Plant Media livestream dashboard.
- Click on the 'Archives' section.
- Select the 'Trim Video or Audio Archive' button for this week's sermon.
2. Locate Trim Points 0:33
- A video player and trim section will appear.
- Play the video to find the desired in and out points for trimming.
3. Set In Point 0:43
- Pause the video at the point where you want the trim to start.
- Click 'Copy from Player' to set the in point.
4. Set Out Point 1:03
- Stop the video and pause it at the out point (the last frame).
- Click 'Copy from Player' to set the out point.
5. Submit the Trim 1:14
- Scroll down and click on 'Submit' to finalize the trimming process.
6. Wait for Confirmation 1:14
- Wait approximately 10 minutes for an update confirming that the video has been trimmed.
Cautionary Notes
- Ensure that you accurately identify the in and out points to avoid trimming important content.
- Double-check the video after trimming to confirm that it meets your expectations before finalizing.
Tips for Efficiency
- Familiarize yourself with the video player controls to quickly navigate to the desired trim points.
- Use keyboard shortcuts if available to pause and play the video for faster operation.
