Setting up vMix for Sunday Streaming
Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to set up a weekly Sunday service stream using vMix, ensuring all necessary directories and settings are correctly configured.
Key Steps
1. Create Recording Directories 0:00
- Open File Explorer.
- Navigate to Drive D.
- Open the year folder.
- Open the recording type folder (e.g., Sunday).
- Open the month folder.
- Create a new folder for the service date.
2. Create Subfolders 0:30
- Inside the newly created service date folder, create two subfolders:
- Recording folder
- Multi-quarter folder (optional)
Cautionary Notes
- Ensure that the correct year, month, and service date folders are created to avoid confusion.
- Double-check that the multi-quarter folder is only created if needed for that week.
Tips for Efficiency
- Use last week's settings file as a template to save time on configuration.
- Regularly check and update the stream recording settings to ensure they remain consistent.
